Full Journal pdf2012-04-15 Senate Journal Page 2371 SB 182 Message dated April 15 was read stating the House passed and returned for consideration CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 182(EDC) "An Act amending the amount of state funding provided to school districts for pupil transportation" with the following amendment: HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 182(FIN) "An Act amending the amount of state funding provided to school districts for pupil transportation; relating to the local contribution for public education; relating to the vocational and technical instruction funding factor for public school funding; establishing in the Department of Education and Early Development a voluntary parent and early childhood education program for pre-elementary aged children; and providing for an effective date." (Title Change HCR 33) Senator Meyer moved that the Senate concur in the House amendment. The question being: "Shall the Senate concur in the House amendment?" YEAS: 11 NAYS: 9 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Coghill, Davis, Dyson, Ellis, Giessel, Hoffman, Huggins, Kookesh, Stedman, Stevens, Wielechowski Nays: Egan, French, McGuire, Menard, Meyer, Olson, Paskvan, Thomas, Wagoner and so, the Senate concurred in the House amendment, thus adopting HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 182(FIN) "An Act amending the amount of state funding provided to school districts for pupil transportation; relating to the local contribution for public education; relating to the vocational and technical instruction funding factor for public school funding; establishing in the Department of Education and Early Development a voluntary parent and early childhood education program for pre-elementary aged children; and providing for an effective date." Senator Meyer moved for the adoption of the effective date clauses. The question being: "Shall the effective date clauses be adopted?" The Secretary was requested to notify the House. The bill was referred to the Secretary for enrollment.
